Workable is an AI-driven health and safety platform that enables companies to create safer workplaces by surfacing risks early, streamlining reporting, and empowering frontline teams with smart tools that drive a culture of care.

Challenge‍

Traditional health and safety systems are often reactive, compliance-heavy, and disconnected from day-to-day operations. Many hazards go unreported, critical data is trapped in forms and PDFs, and workers feel disengaged from the process. Workable sets out to reimagine health and safety from the ground up—making it smarter, more accessible, and more impactful with the help of AI.

Our approach‍

Agentic partnered with the Workable team to co-design and build an AI-first platform that helps businesses surface insights from incidents, near misses, and observations in real time. Our contribution focused on:

• Building natural language reporting flows so workers can log events or hazards in their own words—by voice or text—on any device
  
• Using large language models (LLMs) to interpret reports, classify risk types, and extract key data for analysis
  
• Developing AI-generated summaries and visualisations for managers, helping them act faster and with greater clarity
  
• Ensuring all features aligned with industry best practice and New Zealand health & safety regulations
  

We focused on accessibility, transparency, and ease of use—bringing AI into safety workflows in ways that build trust and drive adoption.
